Cooks Valley Cemetery Meeting

Chairman Ron Fanetti called the annual cemetery meeting to order on June 8, 2009 at 9:28 pm.  Cemetery committee present:  Ron Fanetti, David Clements, and Gary Yakesh.  Delegation present:  Eunice Steinmetz, Victoria Trinko, Earl Hassemer.  Ron Fanetti read the minutes of September 8, 2008 cemetery meeting.  Ron Fanetti made a motion to accept and place on file the minutes of the September 8, 2008 Cooks Valley Cemetery meeting.  Gary Yakesh seconded the motion.  The motion passed 3-0. 

Discussion was held on maintenance and funding for the upkeep of the Cooks Valley Cemetery.  Ron Fanetti would like the pine cones cleaned up, tombstones repaired and the front gate painted. Tom Yakesh will be contacted regarding repairing tombstones.  It was determined to use the interest in the cemetery fund for payment of these projects.
 
The town board would like to commend Harry Prince for the good job of maintaining the cemetery.
 
David Clements made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:37 pm.  Gary Yakesh seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.
